The main objective of Sponsorship projects is to bring dignity and quality of life to the most needy people in Palmeira and the region. The target audience for this project are families, usually large, who live in extreme poverty in the city or in the countryside.

In this way, we seek to assist families throughout their stay in sponsorship, helping them to develop both materially and spiritually, in order to overcome their situation. To achieve this, regular visits are made to the families' homes to monitor their development and also to advise the family in need. This allows us to have an overview of the situation and help with whatever is necessary, such as clothes, school supplies and shoes.

Furthermore, with the financial help that families receive from their sponsors, it is possible to improve their housing situation by investing in improving their homes and household equipment. In many cases, the greatest primary need is food, which the Apadrinhe team tries to prioritize in order to provide the family with groceries and food baskets.
In the interior of the municipalities, the situation of families changes somewhat, as many families, no matter how needy they are, manage to earn a little of their living from their own land. Many families live off agriculture, so Apadrinhe seeks to help families structure and improve their properties and help them acquire goods.
